With more than thirty years experience, Adam is widely regarded as one of California’s leading Pinot Noir experts. He grew up in Austin, TX, far from a future in winemaking. After a progressive career in wine sales, he headed to California to found Siduri Winery, which was sold to Jackson Family Winery in 2015. In 2017, he founded Clarice - named for his grandmother who was his best friend growing up. If you have never experienced Clarice Pinot Noir, this will be you opportunity to personally experience why these wines are among the most critically-acclaimed of California Pinot Noir.

Moret-Brealynn Chavez is a California-born Mexican American who began her professional journey studying psychology at Sacramento State. Her wine career began in 2012 in the Silver Oak tasting room, eventually leading her to open her own winery in 2021: Moret-Brealynn Wines. She quickly received numerous recognitions including “Five Names to Know Now”, a “40 under 40” honoree and “Trendsetting Winemaker”.

The best part is how these stories intersect. Adam and Moret-Brealynn met in an online chat room during the covid pandemic, which led to Moret-Brealynn becoming the General Manger for Clarice Wine Company. The story reached it’s peak in March of 2025 when the two became HUSBAND AND WIFE!
